What drew you into a career in wealth management, and how has your journey shaped your approach?
After spending 10 years in Corporate, I found my true passion was at the intersection of helping people and breaking down complex systems. Wealth management was the perfect fit! I was fortunate enough to have some great mentors along the way guide me into this direction. Right when I started, I was hooked and knew I was at home.
What do you believe is the most important factor in building long-term relationships with clients?
It all comes down to mutual trust. Secondly, I would list understanding goals and empowering the client with a strong financial plan to get them there. However, if there isn’t a foundation of trust between myself and our clients, we wouldn’t be able to provide the service to meet our standards.
How do you define success when working with a client?
It might sound cheesy, but success to me is a client being super excited about their plan. I want my client to say “Wow, now that is awesome”. Everybody is busy - for someone to learn something new, get reenergized about their goals, and trust us to execute that plan flawlessly is the perfect client success story.
Outside of work, what's a hobby or interest that helps you stay balanced or inspired?
I enjoy traveling to new destinations and learning new things with my wife, Ryann. We also go camping or hit the beach whenever we can. I like playing volleyball, hiking, and exercising at our local community center. I am also a huge NPR and podcast junkie.
