Overview

Griffin Boustany serves as a Partner, Financial Advisor, and Vice President at Masterpiece Financial Partners, and he brings something most financial advisors simply don't have: years of real experience inside the automotive industry. Griffin started his career working across General Motors and General Motors Financial, where he gained firsthand experience in dealership operations, financial forecasting, sales strategy, and business consulting.
For dealership owners, automotive professionals, and others building careers in the industry, that background changes the conversation entirely. Griffin already understands how a dealership runs, how floor plan financing works, how seasonal cash flow affects decision-making, and the complexity that comes with owning a business where so much of your net worth is tied up in the operation itself. That means less time explaining your world and more time actually planning for it.
Whether you are thinking about growing your business, protecting what you have built, planning for succession, or figuring out what your financial life looks like beyond the dealership, Griffin brings both the industry experience and the financial expertise to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Planning Approach
Griffin believes that trust is the most important factor in any long-term client relationship. He works to earn that trust every day by listening carefully, understanding each client's goals, and helping build a plan that reflects their unique situation.
His approach is centered on collaboration. Griffin understands that success looks different for every client, which is why he believes it is important to define success together before moving forward with any financial plan. Strong planning, in his view, requires more than a surface-level look at accounts. It requires understanding a client's goals, business operations, family priorities, cash flow needs, and long-term vision.
For clients in the automotive industry, Griffin brings something most financial advisors can't: he has lived inside the business. He understands how dealerships operate, how business decisions get made, and how strategy, execution, and relationships affect long-term growth. That experience gives him a practical lens when helping clients think through retirement, investments, business goals, succession planning, employee benefits, and long-term wealth decisions.
Auto Experience
Griffin's career across General Motors and General Motors Financial gave him firsthand experience in leadership, dealership consulting, sales strategy, financial forecasting, and process improvement. His time in the industry produced real, measurable results:

Grew Boston Chevrolet aftersales by over 10% in under nine months
Grew Hartford Buick/GMC aftersales by over 5% in under nine months

Created a supply chain tool that converted logistics data into a more accurate way to measure source in-transit material
Converted seven floorplans to GM Financial from competitor banks in a nine-month period
Pioneered the framework for a loyalty program designed to market GM vehicles to millennials and helped shape elements of the GM Loyalty Rewards Program

His automotive background gives him a real-world perspective on the decisions dealership owners and industry professionals face every day. That experience now shapes the way he serves clients at Masterpiece Financial Partners, bringing practical insight to conversations around business goals, succession planning, investment strategy, and the future clients are working to build.
Griffin earned his Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the Penn State University Smeal College of Business. His education and professional experience continue to shape the way he thinks about strategy, service, innovation, and long-term planning.
Outside of work, Griffin enjoys USTA tennis, mountain biking, sports, spending time in nature, and building Legos. Tennis is one of the biggest ways he stays balanced and inspired, as he enjoys training, practicing with his teams in Ann Arbor, and competing to move up in the USTA rankings.
